management/share/etc/x2gothinclient_init.d/010_x2gothinclient-fresh-home - Make this file check for the presence of a sessions file before continuing (a NO-OP on X2Go-TCE-NFS, but required on X2Go-TCE-Live, where it would create a race condition). Also, do not create a Desktop or Autostart link for X2GoClient if there is no sessions file (the lack of which makes a locked-down, read-only X2GoClient like the one that is the default in Minidesktop unusable)

debian/x2gothinclient-minidesktop.{preinst,postrm}: Drop diversion of /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf. This has been a bad idea. (See Debian bug #947683).

debian/x2gothinclient-minidesktop.{postinst,maintscript}: Remove previously shipped LightDM config file and reinstate its original (LightDM'ish) state. This involves a pkg revision increment (-0x2go1 -> -0x2go2).

debian/x2gothinclient-minidesktop.postrm: We use dpkg-divert --rename --add in preinst, so let's use --rename also with dpkg-divert --remove. (See Debian bug #947683).

Add --close-disconnect cmdline option to X2Go Client startup parameters when in mini-desktop mode. See discussion in Debian bug #947785 (msg#17).

management/share/etc/x2gothinclient-displaymanager_start: Fix filename given to --background cmdline option. Spotted by Wolfgang Schweer (see Debian bug #947618).

debian/control: Prefer lightdm over nodm for the minidesktop variant. With lightdm the minidesktop is set-up out of the box.

management/share/etc/x2gothinclient_init.d/010_x2gothinclient-fresh-home: Make X2Go Client desktop link executable, so that it becomes a real desktop link.

This breaks MMD!

Nodm is a bad choice in general, but lightdm has "dependency problems"
(requires a package that provides the logind virtual package) and is
apparently "too big".

However, nodm is stale software and upstream considered replacing it
with a lightdm wrapper, so let's see where that gets us...
